DS Window Treatments Texas is the result of more than 40 years of tradition, craftsmanship, and passion for custom window design. Our story began in Venezuela in the early 1980s, when our family launched Acolchados, S.A, a small workshop dedicated to creating beautiful home textiles.
As the years passed, the business evolved into De Camas y Ventanas, C.A., expanding into window treatments and becoming a local reference for quality and custom design.
In the mid-2000s, our founder moved to Florida and created Drapes and Shades custom windows designs (Kashikai Décor) —bringing our family's craftsmanship to the U.S. market. During that time, the company in Venezuela continued under the next generation, maintaining the same dedication to detail, elegance, and exceptional customer service.
In 2015, the family reunited in Florida to continue growing the DS Brand brand within the window-treatment industry.
Years later, in 2021, a new chapter began in Texas with the creation of DS Window Treatments Texas, serving homeowners, designers, and builders across the Houston–Katy area and nationwide.
Today, we operate with:
